To preserve traditional cultural assets

No matter what is conceived or initiated, - more or less quickly the thought process moves to mass thinking and mass production; The motive in the background is to be able to participate in global events.
Even if such thought processes are understandable due to the global spree, still the preservation and support of the small-scale and unspectacular projects is necessary.
It is not the globalization and digitization that represents the basis for the future, but the increasingly disappearing analogue, the cultural asset that has emerged at some point - similar to the arctic seed vault in Spitzergen in the area of plants and horticulture.
It is urgently needed to support the delicate shoots of such projects is urgently needed, including the preservation of the environment.
The usual commercialization of such projects is counterproductive and destructive!

Independientemente de lo que se conciba o inicie, se piensa más o menos rápidamente en términos de masa y producción; la razón primaria es la participación en acontecimientos globales.
Aunque tales pensamientos sean comprensibles debido a la influencia global, es necesario preservar y apoyar los proyectos a pequeña escala y no necesariamente espectaculares.
No es lo globalizado y digitalizado lo que representa la base del futuro, sino lo analógico que está desapareciendo cada vez más, el bien cultural que se creó en algún momento, similar a una bóveda que almacena semillas vegetales en el ártico.
Aquí se necesita urgentemente el apoyo de los brotes de un proyecto, incluida la preservación del entorno.
¡La comercialización habitual de tales proyectos es contraproducente y destructiva!

Debido a la larga experiencia del grupo de autoayuda de mujeres Tanto Mejor en Saboyá, con el objetivo de promover el trabajo artesanal tradicional local, esta ONG recibe un apoyo por parte de la ONG alemana DGFK (Sociedad Alemana para el Fomento de la Cultura).
De este modo, se busca acceder no sólo a los turistas de la zona, sino también a personas interesadas en Bogotá que conozcan el proyecto de muñecas de la promotora Dr. Senta, las cuales, además, manufacturen, según sea necesario.
Por eso, como reconocimiento al trabajo de la promotora, quien cumple este año 85 años, el grupo de autoayuda nombró su sede en Saboyá ‘Galería ES’, con lo que se espera, igualmente, ofrecerles a los visitantes de Bogotá un lugar de encuentro.

Promotion of the self-help group in Saboya
The ONG receives support from the German DGFK (ONG) for the many years of experience of the women's self-help group Tanto Mejor in Saboya, with the aim of promoting traditional handicrafts on site.
The purpose is to approach not only tourists from the adjoining areas, but also interested parties from Bogota, who know of the doll project of the initiator Dr Senta, which continues to produce as needed.
In recognition of the work of the initiator, who is celebrating her 85th birthday this year, the self-help group has been pleased to name the facility in Saboya Galeria ES in her name, also in the hope of offering visitors from Bogota a contact point.

NGO projects are non-profit ventures, i.e. altruistic projects. The critical viewer quickly realizes whether the project is financially beneficial to the circle of contributors or a family.
If the facility is useful for a family and it finances the life of this family, which also applies to large families, so they should honestly convert it into private limited company.
The project carriers and the supporters of the project normally do not share this view, for which there are two reasons:
- the project carriers, the users and the suppliers, are simply too connected to each other to recognize this fact, and
- The supporters are too superficial, so that the of concealment is not perceived.
Another widespread problem is the inability of the participants to identify themselves as a project in the global and increasingly uniform world.
This means:
- Unknowingly, economic opportunities are transferred from A to B. These possibilities were in the past the results of colonialism, in the present it is the short-sighted spread of standards of so-called industrialized countries to the so-called developing countries.
Now it could be argued that life in a country is never one-sided, and in every country there is a gap between the upper and lower classes.
That is true, but the purpose of NGO projects is not to participate in the transfer of external values, but to preserve the peculiarities of the local values.
If this purpose is not shared by the project carriers, who operate under the cloak of selflessness, then the transformation into a serious private limited company should be undertaken and the principles of profit maximization followed.
The voluntary work, which was part of the long-term project work in various countries, was therefore discontinued and commercial consultation on usual rules for international business were offered.
Even if the above argument may seem antisocial to the reader, the rule remains: one and one is two, - not more, but also not less!
A wrong must be named as wrong!

El trabajo artesanal que promueve la ONG Tanto Mejor por la Paz, ya son conocidas en varias partes del mundo.

En el Palacio de Cultura “Rómulo Rozo” antigua estación del ferrocarril de la ciudad de Chiquinquirá, se encuentra la exposición de una variedad de artesanía, elaborada por mujeres del municipio de Saboyá Boyacá. En esta exposición se aprecia varias figuras como muñecas, muñecos y otras muestras propias de la zona.
La mayoría de la figuras están hecha de la lana con una técnica que se llama fieltro; que consiste trabajar con una lana preparada y con agujas se picando con destreza que ya manejan las señoras de Saboyá, más conocida como la tierra de la “Cucharita de Hueso”.
Este año en el mes de julio, nuevamente vino el Prof Norberth Pintsch de Alemania, director de la (ONG) acompañado por Renate Perner, quienes trabajaron con las mujeres en la preparación de la exposición especial en el Palacio de la Cultura en Chiquinquiera, Lutz Fluegge ayudó en el campo AT, ya que se estaba llevando a cabo la mudanza del taller a la Galería de Artesanía.
Para la preparación de la exposición se explicaron las responsabilidades en una pequeña conferencia, en la que el periodista Romillio Rodríguez Fajardo, la profesora Ana Camila Chiquillo y Prof Pintsch participaron para hacer posible la exposición.
Para el próximo año se discutió la posibilidad de permitir actuar al artista alemán Peter Hecht en como “Artista en Residencia”.
Además, se debería lograr desarrollar un set en Alemania, a través del proyecto de la diseñadora Senta Siller y colega Sabine Piltz, que también es la gestora del proyecto de muñecas, en el que sea posible todos los procesos necesarios para la creación de cuero de peces y así diseñar con este joyas naturales. Este sería un desarrollo muy interesante que sería de igual forma útil para los proyectos en Pakistán y en Camerún.
Pues míster Norberth Pintsch ha dado a conocer este trabajo en varios museos del mundo y muchas de las artesanías saboyanas fueron llevadas para su exposición internacional en este año. En esta oportunidad la muestra estará todo el mes de septiembre en este Monumento Nacional; el Palacio de la Cultura.

A causa de la mudanza del taller de Tanto Mejor a la casa de la señora Stella con la Galería Artesanía fue oficial, lo preparado en el pasado: Artesanías artísticas, incluido el trabajo de Tanto Mejor, trasladado a un lugar muy económico que también es idóneo para talleres como los que tienen lugar en Julio.
Esto influencia de manera positiva en las exposiciones especiales de Tanto Mejor en Palacio de la Cultura en Chiquinquira.

El Campo Mirando
Due to the shifting of the workshop of Tanto Mejor to the house of Senora Stella, the Galeria Artesania became officially more recognized as compared to the past.
The decision to relocate Crafts, including the work of Tanto Mejor, to a cheaper location, also for Workshops as in July, is very suitable.
This also had a positive effect in the special exhibition of Tanto Mejor in the Palacio de la Cultura in Chiquinquira.

In contrast to similar projects in PK and CA, new rules have to be observed in CO. So far, hydro-geological data concerning reliable water-bearing layer is missing, although it is the basis for the technical implementation and thus also for a realistic cost calculation.
Patience is required and further discussions are needed.
Proyecto de agua potable en Saboyá: Contrario a proyectos similares en PK y CA, rigen en CO nuevos reglamentos que deben tenerse en cuenta. Hasta ahora faltan datos hidrogeológicos en lo concerniente a una capa acuífera confiable, fundamentos para la aplicación técnica y, por lo tanto también para un cálculo serio de costos. Se requiere paciencia y hay más conversaciones por realizar

SPAET en cooperación con Tanto Mejor (TM) prepara una ampliación del proyecto. TM fue fundada en 1999 para el apoyo de artesanías artísticas en Boyacá. Pronto fueron sobrepasadas las posibilidades personales (y financieras). TM cooperó con Pueblo de Yaguas por Leticia, quienes confeccionaban las “ropas”. SPAET en Ch. tiene que organizar mejores posibilidades de contacto para otra cooperación
al proyecto de cuero de pescado en el Amazonas.
Como apoyo ofreció SPAETel DGFK para la organización correspondiente para 2017. Esto fue posible a través de Profesor Doctor Pintsch con motivo de su estadía en Chiquinquira para el proyecto CNC y artesanías artísticas. En este proyecto se trata de productos vendibles por TM.
Fish leather project in the Amazon
SPAET in cooperation with Tanto Mejor (TM) is preparing a project expansion. TM was founded in 1999 for local handicraft support in Boyaca. Soon, the human (and financial) possibilities were exhausted.
TM cooperated with Puebla de Yaguas at Leticia, where the ropas were made. SPAET has better contact possibilities for a further project cooperation in the Amazon regarding fish leather. For support, SPAET has requested DGFK to prepare the program for 2017.
This became possible during the stay of Prof Dr Pintsch in Chiquinquira for the Project CNC and Handicraft. This project deals with marketable products for Tanto Mejor.

Times of transformation are times of change and change always comes.
In the present time, change is brought about through the use of and effects of Information and Communication. At the same time, the factor is ignored, although it is there all the time.
The manufacturing of a unique piece requires time and demands Initiative, Creativity and Innovation. Terms, which are precondition in the analog as well as in the digital world. The big danger here is of acting as Either-Or, because it is more sensible to act as This-As well as this. Otherwise the ground reality goes lost and the digital reality is considered the only reality. The production of errors is increased exponentially. These again lead to Pseudo-Solutions, which contain new faults!

Corferias Maravillas De Boyaca (held every two years) was organized on August 5 – 9, 2015 in Bogota - the capital from Colombia. Handicraft from Boyaca were displayed. The fair attracted large number of visitors and handicraft lovers.
Tanto Meyor has had the chance to cooperate with the Foundation from Boyaca in Tunja. Tanto Mejor (NGO) participated in the colourful event. Dr Senta Siller was there to organize the participation of Tanto Mejor (NGO) from settlement Saboya, with round about 6000 inhabitants.
